ABSTRACT
Modeling of mechanical systems plays a fundamental role in modern engineering design processes, especially for complex, dynamic systems. This work examines different modeling approaches through different application examples, highlighting their applicability and limitations. The research presents the use of AVL Cruise, Matlab Simulink and Simscape environments, and TPToolbox, with a special focus on polytope-based model transformation methods. The results show that appropriately chosen modeling and control tools significantly contribute to more efficient design and optimization of systems.
