ABSTRACT
The pace of technological development in the 21st century is very rapid. Every day, newer and more advanced devices appear in our daily lives. Our everyday objects have a short life cycle, they break down or we simply get bored of them. The theory of planned obsolescence is changing in line with this approach. The besic idea of consumers society is to buy, use and then throw the product away. This article argues against this philosophy by presenting an example how a product can be simply reconstructed.
