ABSTRACT
This study analyzes the press fitting process of a ball bearing into an output housing, focusing on stress distribution around the bearing seat fillet. Simulations were performed using various overlap values (G = 0.005 – 0.025 mm) with both linear and nonlinear static FE methods. Based on the comparison of stress results, a linear to nonlinear correction factor ( 2 =1.05 − 1.25) was defined to adjust linear static’s results for improved accuracy.
